The First Baptist Church of Williamsport is a family of faith, united in our experience of the new creation in Jesus Christ, and affiliated with the American Baptist Churches.

We believe in soul freedom, the authority of Scripture, and the ability to think for ourselves with God’s guidance.

We value diversity not conformity.

We believe that people are more important than religious rules.

We value our traditions but are not slaves to them.

We believe in the power of the Holy Spirit to transform lives.

We desire to learn and grow spiritually as well as to support mission efforts and help those in need.
