One of the deepest joys in the Christian life is to know that often God uses his people in simple ways to be a blessing to others. Being there at the right time is often the Lord’s doing and he allows us to be his servants. It is also true for the church. To be a part of a congregation that faithfully grows in the knowledge and love of Christ and opens its arms to all is a real blessing. Such is the fellowship of First Baptist, Williamsport. Over the years we have learned to grow, adapt, be flexible and simply offer the love of Jesus. What a privilege it is to be a Child of God in this place and to feel a part of his great creation and our church tradition.

Just as the founding families and assisting churches were excited in the creation of First Baptist back in 1854, so there is excitement in our growing hearts as we Worship & Minister in Christ's Name. It is going to be good. It is going to be fun. It is going to be inspiring. Please join us. We are ready to welcome you to share the love of Jesus in our fellowship.
