Rob is new to Williamsport, but as a Penn State graduate he is no stranger to Central PA.  He began his ministry here at First Baptist Church in September 2009.  Rob was born and raised in the Philadelphia suburbs of Warminster, and as a pastor has served American Baptist churches in New Jersey, Colorado, and Pennsylvania for the past 25 years.  He also earned his Ph.D. in Denver, Colorado, and has been an adjunct professor at a number of colleges, seminaries, and universities, most recently teaching a two-semester humanities course, Intellectual Heritage, at Temple University in Philadelphia.  Rob enjoys the mountains, traveling (has been overseas and spent time in every U.S. state except Alaska), reading, writing, listening to music, comedy, cycling, sports (an avid PSU, Eagles and Phillies fan) and claims he can illustrate almost any topic of discussion by recalling a scene from a movie.  He is excited about being in Williamsport, and is eager to be a part of his new community.
